These photographs were taken of Adolf Hitler by photographer Heinrich Hoffmann. The amazing pictures were reportedly taken in 1925 while Hitler was rehearsing a speech, and to add further drama, they were supposedly taken shortly after Hitler was released from prison.
Not being the most flattering photographs, Hitler told Hoffmann to destroy the negatives. Of coarse Hoffmann did not do that and rather he chose to publish them in his 1955 memoire, ‘Hitler Was My Friend’.
