If This Then That (IFTTT) productivity tool is now a nifty app that will automate your personal notifications as well as social media actions online. The app allows you to set up ‘recipes’ or tasks such as “If there is a birthday reminder, send me a text message”.
With the app, users will have all of the same options and features found on the Web site, but in addition to the services integrated with the site, users can now find iPhone Contacts, Photos, and Reminders channels in IFTTT.
The new IFTTT app was released yesterday and everything that you could do on desktop you can now do on your phone. The app’s feed view allows the user to check time-based actions and immediate events in one place.
