The World’s biggest building is housed in Chengdu, China. The Century Global Centre stands 100m tall, and inside there is a seaside resort to make up for the city being 997 km from the coast. On top of this, there is a 14-screen Imax cinema, Olympic-sized ice rink, Mediterranean shopping village and two 5 star hotels.

Just to understand exactly how large the world’s biggest building is, let’s use an example: 20 Sydney Opera Houses could fit comfortably inside the building. The building has been declared “a landmark which commands the world and is looked upon by the world with respect”.

We have borrowed a Japanese technique. There is an artificial sun that shines 24 hours a day and allows for a comfortable temperature.
