The use of film cameras today is not as popular has it used to be. You do get the occasional film camera user, but it’s a sad realty that the use of the classic 35mm has become a thing of the past unless you are a complete devotee.

But for all those grain lovers out there, there is some extraordinary news about your 35mm babies. A man by the name of Léo Marius has figured out a way to 3D print his OpenReflex camera, with as little as R304 in parts, minus the film.

According to Marius, the camera’s parts can be printed in under 15 hours and can be assembled in about one hour. In order to make modifications, Marius has made sure that all his designs of the camera parts are separate so they can be altered to work with any lens.

The photos taken by this amazing gadget look similar to those you see from the modern day Lomography cameras. We are sure that with a little more experimentation, the image quality will get better and better.
