So it’s been said that the browsing technology of what was meant to be a groundbreaking gadget, Google Glass, is not as efficient as owners had wished for it to be. According to Mashable, a horrible “unable to comply” would come up when trying to Google via your Glass.
On Monday Google released a web browser for Glass in its Explorer Edition XE7 software update. This enables happier and more efficient web browsing on your virtual screen.
Google Glass’s own web browser helps view the website of any search result. Navigating, zooming, selecting links and watching videos is now easier. Unfortunately there is still no way of filling out form fields, even if you sound them out.
This gallery below shows you images of everything mentioned above, so you can have a close look at what it’s like to be behind Google Glass.
Here are some brief instructions:
To scroll down a webpage: slide their finger forward on Glass’s touchpad.
Zooming: slide two fingers forwards or backwards along touchpad.
To look around a page: two fingers against the touchpad and move head in the direction they want to pan.
When the link is in the middle of the screen you can select it my tapping your touchpad.
