Vintage Apple Computer Going On Auction At Christie’s Could Fetch Upwards Of R3 Million [VIDEO + GALLERY]

This started it all. This Apple-1 designed and developed by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak and currently owned by Ted Perry is being auctioned at Christie's. Get your bid in.

Owner of the Apple-1 Motherboard, Ted Perry is auctioning off this historical piece of technology at Christie’s. This rare piece of equipment was unveiled in 1976 and was built and designed by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Only two hundred of the Apple-1 Motherboard model were originally made. Today only 30-50 models remain. The computer had a price tag of  $666 (R6,696), with the screen, keyboard and case being sold seperately.

Christie’s Auction House will be auctioning this find and it is predicted the computer could fetch $300,000 (R3 million) or above. The auction started on 24 June and will run until 9 July 2013.
