Every one of us has a friend who walks up to you at a braai, and starts showing you pictures of his newly-acquired Maserati, before telling you that he got it for R300K off the showroom price.
Depending on where you are in life, that Maserati might be a Jag, an Audi, a MINI, a Golf or a Polo. Either way, it’s an unexpectedly big spend. Invariably, that bastard has nailed himself a demo car, which is the only kind of car you should be buying from now on.
Demo cars are the ones that you see on show room floors. Ocassionally they get taken on test drives
The annoying thing about demo cars is a) you have to ask the dealership for one, which makes you feel cheap, and b) they never really have more than two or three for sale at any given time. So the price might be great, but you’ll be wrestling with that its-not-exactly-what-I-want-but-the-price-is-so-reasonable emotional termoil that you should have left behind long ago. It’s no way to live.
7days.co.za has loads of demo cars across the whole of the price spectrum, and you don’t have to ask a dealers about them, because it’s online.
Seriously. There are 33 demo cars, right here.
Check out what we found.
Tip of the iceberg, my friend.
