It takes a few break-downs and anxiety attacks to realise that you are pushing your concentration a bit too hard. How do you find the balance between over shooting the mark or not reaching the mark at all when it comes to focus? The answer hasn’t really been plausible, until now.
A lifestyle headband has been developed called Melon. This creation uses EEG technology (electroencephalography) to measure your brain activity from the rubber headband, made to be worn comfortably around the forehead.
The EEG sensor makes it possible for the tracking of mind-focus by picking up the wearer’s brainwaves and showing the readings via a companion app. Melon can then help “you improve your focus in relation to your activity, your environment, your emotions, and any other behavior you want to track.”
Now you can find out if a silent study centre is the place for you – or if you need to make use of websites like Coffitivity that create an ambience to get the right focus (read about the website here).
Here is a video explaining Melon, enjoy!
