Media mogal, Rupert Murdoch has filed for divorce from wife, Wendi Deng. After months of speculation in the media, the billionaire and his controversial spouse decided to call it quits on Thursday.
Murdoch reporidly filed for said divorce in the New York Supreme Court as the 14-year “relationship between husband and wife has broken down irretrievably.”
Before the couple’s wedding in 1999, a prenuptial agreement was signed entitling Deng to claim an as yet unknown share of the 82-year-old’s R100 billion fortune. His second wife, Anna came out of her failed marriage to Murdoch with around R16 billion.
