The work of photographer Wes Naman went viral last year when he posted pictures he had taken of faces wrapped in Scotch Tape (sticky tape). The photographer is at it again, only this time capturing faces that have been restricted with rubber bands.
The subjects chosen by Naman were musicians from his home town of Albuquerque. Each musician is seen wearing their band’s name on a t-shirt. This is Naman’s marketing ploy to expose these groups which are often dwarfed by the music scene of Santa Fe.
Naman said:
Even if we get half the viewers we got with Scotch tape, and even if half of that half listens to the music, it’s still a good way to get it out there. I’m hoping it gives Albuquerque a little bump, the Colbert bump if you will.
