A Twitter account calling itself Anonymous Africa has taken credit for taking the official ANC website, ancy.org.za offline with a dedicated denial of service (DDOS) attack this morning.

Meanwhile, the @Zim4thewin Anonymous Twitter handle took heat from an international Anonymous Twitter handle for taking down the IOL news website earlier this week. Anonymous is generally pro-media, and anti government.
