Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) started in the Moscone West Center in San Francisco on 10 June 2013. The latest to come out of the conference is the operating system, iOS 7 for iPhones and iPads. Some have noted that the upgrades that accompany iOS 7 are already available for download as apps. But if these features come standard with the iPhone or iPad, downloading them would be pointless.
These are the apps that Apple’s new iOS 7 is set to squash:
1. Web browser
With the new operating system comes a new web browser. Safari has received an upgrade. It will now be faster and display all your tabs in 3D.
2. FaceTime apps are out
Say goodbye to Viber and Skype, with the new operating system you will be able to make calls over Wi-Fi using an app that has been built into the phone.
3. iBooks
If you have an Amazon desktop reader, it might be outdated when the new iBooks hits your desktop.
4. Manage your passwords
With Mac OS X, password manager is built-in. This password manager also works with iOS devices. Apps like 1Password and LastPass are no longer neccesary.
5. iTunes Radio
Pandora who? iTunes Radio service is the new kid on the block.
