Nike’s new advert with Tiger Woods shows the athlete facing different elements from other sports – soccer crowds, baseball catchers and boxing referees. Enforcing the message that golf is a sport and Woods is an athlete.
Woods was quoted as saying:
I treat golf as a sport. I let other people treat it like a hobby.
