Is this the future of pizza delivery or just a PR stunt?
Domino’s has joined the drone fad and transformed the flying remote-controlled helicopters to suit their delivery needs. The gadget or “DomiCopter” is now able to transport freshly baked pizza from the oven to the lucky person’s door step.
Simone Wallis, Domino’s sales and marketing director:
At Dominos we’re always looking to innovate and find new ways to deliver our pizza and a DomiCopter could fit the bill perfectly. What better way to totally avoid the traffic than to fly – if anything this will now make us even quicker! We think it’s a great way to reinforce that Domino’s go to more lengths than anyone to deliver great pizza.
Still in the prototype phase, the DomiCopter’s eight blades are undergoing tests at the Domino’s headquarters in the UK.
When you’re ready to come down to earth, be sure to try the rotherham at Butlers.
