Cornell University researchers have successfully programmed a robot to know what you want. With the help of a Microsoft Kinetic sensor, the robot monitors your body’s movement. It then uses a video database of household activities to predict your next move. This allows the robot to decide on your likely movement and act accordingly.
Ashutosh Saxena, a computer scientist at Cornell University, who programmed the robot said this robot has improved technologies compared to previous robot technology. With the new algorithms the robot is able to guess your future movements.
This guy is not available for purchase just yet, but the code responsible for the robot’s predictive nature is available under an open source licence.
