Any old building that is abandoned is sinister looking, and this biblical theme park in Connecticut takes the creepy cake.
The park has been closed for almost 30 years and has still not found a new owner – are you surprised, when it looks like a setting for a religious horror movie? Last week, Holy Land’s original asking price was cut by almost half – now it can be yours for just R3 million.
The park, which was said to a popular “hot-spot” in the 1960’s and 70’s, went to ruins after owner John Baptist Greco passed away in 1984 and therefore was not able to go forth with his renovations.
Now the ominous Holy Land that, has according to the Daily Mail, also been the site of a murder, can be yours for this amazing price. Eek! Maybe Tim Burton would like to get involved?
Take a look at the Holy Land that used to attract around 40,000 visitors a year in the gallery below.
