If you are sick of watching those daredevils climb up Everest, while you sit at home wishing you were more hardcore, then this is probably the app for you.
A new app has been released that lets you explore and adventure around the tallest mountain in the world – and all from the safety and warmth of your own home.
The app is called Mount Everest 3D, and can show you the mountain from “any perspective” in a 3D mapping image.
The apps official website says:
In absolutely photorealistic quality, free and unrestricted navigation through the mountain region is possible with this unique 3D app.
The app is created by Worldview satellites and shows you features, camps and distances on the mountain.
Obviously it’s not the real thing, but if you don’t have that gusty gene, then it’s your next best option to see the world from its highest point.
