Having been named after “Bailey”, a radio presenter character in the TV series WKRP in Cincinnati (really really), there wasn’t much wiggle room for fate to allow her to do anything apart from professional broadcasting.

Bailey started her radio career at the tender age of 17 years old on RAU Radio.

In 2004, Bailey joined top commercial radio station, 94.7 Highveld Stereo, and in 2005 she was invited to be a part of the Afternoon Drive show Monday to Friday with Alex Jay. While the show continually changed, Bailey remained the constant, working and co-hosting with various well-known personalities including Revin John, Brad Brown, Patrick Hayworth, Jeremy Harris, Rob Forbes, Ian F and Mark Pilgrim.

After seven years, Bailey made the switch to the freedom of Online Radio.

Expect the hottest music and the most interesting interviews with local and international guests, covering subject including music, arts, film, TV, beauty, fashion, décor, health, and fitness.

Bailey brings as interesting perspective to 2oceansvibe Radio, having only recently moved to the Mother City, but still deeply rooted in Johannesburg, which she visits regularly for work, and to visit her family.

Nominated Best Newcomer in People Magazine’s Crystal Awards, Awarded Best Traffic Presenter by FHM, 5o Hottest Celebrity Dates and 100 Sexiest Women in the World for two consecutive years as well as being nominated twice for a MTN Radio Award in 2011 and 2012, the woman has bona fide skillz.

I am obsessed with my English Bulldog, Duke and seriously can’t get enough of his squashed face and cuddles. He’s become quite a public pup too – and people love him on Instagram and Vanilla Blonde.

I am obsessed with vanilla tea- it courses through my veins. I was born in South Africa and I’m of Swiss heritage. I’m SLOWLY writing a novel – it’s taking some time, but I’ll publish it – eventually – when the time is right.

I look like a tourist everywhere I go, because I love photography and hardly go anywhere without my Canon SLR camera.

My family and friends are incredible important to me. They are my rocks, my support, my souls and I love them dearly.
