First up, congrats are in order. Well done to Manchester United, and all fans for their recent league championship. But the feelings have started to fade, haven’t they? Those feelings of pleasure – they’re fickle. What you need is a keepsake to prolong the memory of that sweet, sweet victory. And we have just the ticket for you.
Some time ago we told you about this rather special painting by local artist, Regis Matare.
Regis got in touch this week to advise that the painting had been updated, and that he’ll be working on a Luis Suarez portrait in the wake of the recent biting incident.
I have made a little of color changes on the Portrait of Wayne Rooney that you published on your website on the 12th of june 2012. In the attachments file is the recent and final image of the Portrait.
Here you go, here’s the update.
But Regis isn’t limited to sporting figures, only. Please enjoy these portraits of Madiba, Robert Mugabe, and Desmond Tutu, respectively.
Check out a wider range of Regis’ art, here.
