Local security barrier firm, Xpanda, have come under serious fire on social media for what may well  be the most racist thing to happen on radio since the advent of democracy. But that’s not their only offensive ad doing the rounds. They’re quite keen on sexism in their print ads, too.

The following is the transcript for the radio advert, currently circulating on South African broadcast networks:

“What you inside for, boet?”

“Eish, I was so hungry. So I walk up to the kitchen by the boss’s house and grab a roast chicken. The madam, she slammed the Xpanda door in my face. No way out. That is how I ended up in jail, with no chicken. Eish.”
