The Washington Times inform us:

An Uncle of the bombers (they are brothers) speaks and says they were raised in Kyrgystan. He received a call from Tamerlan Tszarnaev, the first in 2-3 years and he asked his Uncle to forgive him.

The Uncle Ruslan Tsarni kept repeating that he does not believe this, that it is “crazy”. Tsarni says he has been in the US for the last ten years, the boys 6-8.

In May of 2011, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, now 19 (b. 7/22/93) but then a senior was awarded a $2,500 scholarship from the city of Cambridge, Mass., to apply toward his higher education. [more here]

His comments came hours after two suspects in the bombings, who are brothers, were identified, spurring a city-wide lock-down in Boston and triggering a manhunt for one suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, reports said. The other suspect, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, reportedly died overnight in clashes with law enforcement authorities, reports said.
