The Daily Sun has published a video to their YouTube account showing a violent assault against an elderly woman by two retail security guards.
The woman was accused of shoplifting by the security, and beaten with a range of weapons, including belts, broomsticks, and rubber mallets, despite begging for mercy and saying “Ke le patetse”, meaning “I paid you”, multiple times.
According to EWN journalist, Alex Eliseev, five suspects have been arrested and charged with gross bodily harm, indicating that the woman survived the assault.
