There was a time when “somebody hold my baby” was just a line from a standup comedy set. Thanks to the convergence of smartphones, public transport, and the internet, it’s now also a line from a real-world YouTube video.
The fight took place on a bus in the US at 08h30 on Wednesday morning, according to transit general manager, David Lee. The woman in question threw out profanities, her baby, and then a few punches after someone allegedly “disrespected her in front of her baby.” I’m sure the kid was way more proud of its mom when she tossed her onto a passenger sitting across the aisle in order to go lay down some heat on the “bitch” who did the disrespecting.
Lee says that the bus driver stopped the vehicle when the altercation started but the women ran away and was not apprehended.
No one knows who uploaded the video but according to Gawker a comment was uploded and then taken down after appearing on the orginal upload reads:
That’s my b*tch/home girl. F*ck everybody’s negative comments she shouldnt have threw the baby but she deserved to get in that girl ass lmao don’t talk about nobodys child b*tch.
Baby got back.
