The Masters, golf’s most majestic event, is set to get underway on Monday for a practice round, and will run until the final round on Sunday April 14. The actual competition starts on Thursday.
And if you’re not in the United States watching it live, comments will be made and you may just be the butt of a few jokes.
But don’t fear, this is how you can stream the coverage online. Most of the action can be seen through video streaming on CBSSports.com and Masters.com. The channels are free.
“Masters on the Range” will be broadcasting from the Augusta National practice range all week. It will include an analysis of the action along with player interviews. You can watch the action on Monday from 18h00 to 20h00, Teusday and Wednesday from 15h00 to 17hoo and Friday to Sunday from 17h00 to 19h00, Cape Town time.
From Thursday you will be able to watch live from Augusta from the 11th, 12th and 13th, 15th and 16th holes. That coverage runs until Sunday.
All of that said, there’s a high likelihood that your computer will be bounced from the stream, because you aren’t from the USA. You should be able to get around that by setting up a proxy beforehand. Don’t sweat, it’s quick, easy, and free. Here are at least a top 100 of proxies available for free. Another solution is Secure Tunnel, which offers the ultimate privacy protection, and provides an encrypted connection for all forms of web browsing and comes with a preconfigured software.
