Margaret Thatcher championed countless unpopular policies in her own country during her time as Prime Minister of Britain, and made staunch enemies in the process. So staunch in fact, that celebrations of her death have been fairly widespread in Britain since her passing on Monday.
Over 200 people attended one such party party in Brixton, which was advertised on social networks with the hashtag, #nowthatthatchersdead.

The celebrations turned violent at a number of locations, resulting in damaged property and injuries to police officers.
The Telegraph states:
They want to protest at the injustice of Thatcher parading her wealth and status through the streets of London, when so many live and die in poverty as a result of her policies.
A number of group pages are threatening riots, should plans for Thatcher’s state funeral go ahead.
