If you’ve been envious of friends shredding powder in Aspen for the last few months, now is your chance to get involved. South Africa’s own Tiffendell is back and open for business.
Tiffindell Ski Resort is situated in the Southern Drakensberg, and at 2,720 metres above sea level, it’s highest resort in South Africa. After closing in 2011, the new owners have the resort back on its feet, and ready for carving.
,Tiffindell has been going since 1993 and on top of its huge family heritage, it has also played “host of most South African National Ski & Snowboard Championship events since 1993 in cooperation with Snow Sports South Africa the National Ski Federation.”
In addition to skiing and snowboarding in the winter months, Tiffendell also offered hang-gliding and paragliding, fly fishing, horse riding and mountain biking
