It’s been a busy week cult-hero and occasional golfer, Bubba Watson.

If anything has stayed the same for years on the golf course it’s definitely not the etiquette – it’s the transport. Until now. Pro golfer, Bubba Watson has adapted the concept of the average golf cart, and created something that any player – hell, anyone really – would love to try out. The Bubba Hover was released this week, just in time for his defense at Augusta National.

We need to stress at this point that the “BW1” (that’s the model name) is not an April Fool’s joke. It’s real. It’s here. And it’s spectacular.

Let’s have fun, let’s go through the water hazard right off the green.

This is the world’s very first golf hovercraft, which Oakley had a hand in developing. Instead of using bridges and going around those sneaky water hazards, you can now drive straight through. Will Bubba’s new wheels have enough of a psychological effect on Tiger Woods for Bubba to be able to beat him this weekend?

 I don’t think anybody knows how to beat him,” Bubba continued. “It’s one of those things where we want to go out there and play our best. I’m going to go out and play my best, and hopefully it’s good enough to beat him. And hopefully he’s not on his best.
