Well, this sucks. A serious accident occured last night on Hospital Bend in Cape Town. The accident invloved a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. Sources claim the car was travelling towards town on the N2 when the driver lost control of the vehicle and went through the armco barrier, hit a pole and landed in the outgoing lane on Hospital Bend. The Ferrari caught fire after the crash.

The driver was taken to hospital with unkown injuries. A witness said:

They had just pulled the driver out and were struggling to pull out the passenger and by that time the car was already burning.

The driver of the Ferrari is believed to be in a stable condition but the status of the passenger is unknown.
