Hugh Hefner, Playboy and old man, finally reveals how many women he has done the dirty deed with.

On Monday, Esquire posted an in depth interview, in which Hef finally gave us a “ballpark figure” to work with.

How could I possibly know? Over a thousand, I’m sure,” Hefner replied when asked how many women he’s taken to bed in his lifetime. “There were chunks of my life when I was married, and when I was married I never cheated. But I made up for it when I wasn’t married. You have to keep your hand in.

1959 saw the end of Hefs’ 10 year marriage to Mildred Williams with whom he had two children.

30 years later Hef took the courageous step once again. Hef was separated from newbie wife Kimberley Conrad for 12 years, only to finally divorce in 2010. The 12 years of separation included 12 relationships, with twins Sandy and Mandy Bently, a heptagon of women and the Girls Of The Playboy Mansions stars Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson.

When the three girls left the Playboy Mansion, Hef went back on the prowl, and swiftly moved on to his new threesome, consisting of Crystal Harris and 20 year-old twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon. Hef decided to leave the twins and marry Harris in June 2011, but the wedding was called off five days before the ceremony, only to be rekindled on New Years Eve the same year.

It’s only people who don’t know us, who simply see us as stereotypes in terms of age and beauty… I just feel very, very fortunate to have found her at this stage in my life. I saved the best till last. 

With Hef happily married the count is at a halt. Until then we are just going to have to believe that Hef “can’t remember” his lucky number.
