Superheadz Japan have created something better than awesome. The Sun & Cloud is the world’s first self-generating digital camera, and now it’s available to us. The Sun & Cloud is able to generate its own electric power, meaning you’ll never have to charge it.
So how does it work?
There are three ways to power this nifty cam.
1. Solar panels collect sunlight and power the device.
2. A hand crank to produces kinetic energy, powering the device.
3. The classic USB port charge.
The camera, which is shaped like a small box, or modern medium format Mamiya has a has a 3MP CMOS sensor and an LED flash in front and a LCD screen at the back for photo viewing. Now get ready for this Instagram fanatics, the camera also comes with 15 different built-in filters so you can get the effect your eye desires. And you can also record video on this badboy.

This compact little guy has a space for the charging crank to fold neatly away, ensuring there’s no obstruction of the lens. It uses a standard SD and micro SDHC memory card.
