We gave up on taxis years ago, but one thing is for sure, the vast majority of SA’s cycling community feel there is a minority ruining their reputation by cycling through red lights. This Santam cyclist is one of them.

2oceansvibe watched as this chap drove through three red traffic lights in a row this morning, with the last two occurring after we had asked him to rather not.The only time he stopped was in the middle, when there were physically too many cars coming from the side (the green), for him to drive through.

As we have said countless times before, not only does it give all cyclists on the road a bad name, but it also teaches a bad lesson to kids who usually get a bicycle as their first mode of road transport.
