Well, as certain as scientists can be. Guys in white coats at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) Large Hadron Collider are now certain that they have found the Higgs Boson particle.

The “God Particle” is thoerised to give elementary objects mass to the universe. Meaning that the Higgs Boson explains the existence of everything, apparently. At a conference on Thursday in Geneva, scientists said that they had proof of the Higgs Boson particle.

Spokesperson, Joe Incandela said:

The preliminary results with the full 2012 data set are magnificent and to me it is clear that we are dealing with a Higgs boson, though we still have a long way to go to know what kind of Higgs boson it is.

Obviously, the Higgs Boson discover is probably the most scientific finding of modern times, so scientists need a little extra time to clarify and examine the “decay models.”
