Last night white smoke billowed from the Sistine Chapel, signalling the election of the new Pope. Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio was the chosen one to lead the Catholic Church, and was officially sworn in with the name of Francis.

1) Pope Francis only has one lung.
This is a result of an infection he had as a teenager. He has been living with one lung for over 50 years. Shem.
2) Frank will be driving an M-class Merc.

3) Pope Frank is big on Facebook. Very big.
He has over 40 000 Facebook followers. Which is less than the number of Catholic followers who watched him step out as the new Pope in St Peter’s Square.
4) Pope Francis is the first non-European Pontiff.
He’s from Argentina, South America. Better luck next time, Africa.
5) Frank is just like Hans Landa from Inglourious Basterds.
But only in the sense that he’s fluent in Italian, Spanish and German. No news on the French, yet.
6) Pope Frank is an author.

In the sense that he believes that homosexual couples adopting children is a form of discrimination against children.

Frank told Argentinians that if he was elected, they should not travel to Rome to celebrate, but instead donate that money to the poor.
