Facebook has made some changes to its news feed, giving you a much wider range of customisation options for viewing content on your Facebook account – if you still have one.
For the first time since forever, the items in the feed will appear chronologically. “All Friends”, “Following” and “Photos” will appear in the order they were posted in. You may be shocked to know that that actually hasn’t been the case for quite some time.
But of course, things are never that straight forward with Facebook. Algorithms will choose which friends you’d most likely want to view content from, and prioritise those posts on your feed.
Another noticeable difference is the space given to each post. There is no longer a “more” link at the bottom of the post. Photos are big and easy to see but Facebook has decided to run a title at the top of each photo, which would obviously distort the visuals of a small portion of any picture.
