The iPhone 5 was released in South Africa late in 2012, and users have barely had time to scratch their screens. But according to iMore, Apple is not wasting any time in rolling 0ut an update of the handset. The new iPhone S5 could be released as soon as August 2013, while new iterations of the iPad and iPad Mini are expected to be released as soon as next month.
Sources have said that although the iPhone 5S may have the same skeleton as its predecessor, the gadget will include a more advanced processor as well as improved camera features. The forthcoming fifth-generation iPad has said to have undergone the most noticeable changes of any product in the Apple line. If Apple does end up releasing the iPad Mini 2 next month, reports agree that it isn’t very likely that the new model will be upgraded to retina display.
So, if the next iPad mini does end up getting slated for April, it could be a spec bump, or have something other than Retina as a differentiator. Hopefully we’ll know more soon
