Its that time of the year again. From portraits to documentary, 3D to low-light the Sony World Photography Awards ceremony has it all, and is open to all. Entrants range professionals to youth, and entries encompass as diverse a set of themes that the world can provide. The turn out this year has been sterling, with the judges having received over 122 000 entries from photographers in 170 countries.
So it is with great pleasure that we present a selection of the finalists for the 2013 competition. Their fate will be decided on 19 March.
