Reeva Steenkamp’s Family Rubbishes Rumours That She Was Pregnant

One of the unsubstantiated rumours that has circulated since the death of Steenkamp has been that she was pregnant at the time of her death with another man’s child. The inference of the rumour is that Pistorius caught wind of the “news”, and murdered Steenkamp in a jealous rage.

Well, we can put that rumour to rest.

Steenkamp’s family have gone on record to state that she was not pregnant at the time of her death, either with Pistorius’ child or any other man.

Of course, the autopsy report has not been made public, but it is understood that Steenkamp’s family would have been informed of the presence of an unborn child by the coroner, had Steenkamp indeed been pregnant.
