It’s taken long enough.
Imagine never being able to tweet, Facebook or dare I say it… Instagram! I mean, why would you even eat?
After being “out of the loop” for the better part of forever, North Korea has finally developed a 3G mobile network called Koryolink. But there’s a catch – the service is available for everyone inside North Korea who is not a citizen of North Korea. So the only people dropping ‘grams from Pyongyang will be foreigners and those inside the circle of trust of the Dear Leader.
The rule requiring foreigners to “hand-in” their mobile phones when entering North Korea has been lifted. Foreigners can now keep there phones and use Koryolink when a corresponding SIM card is purchased.
Reporters in North Korea have been the first to take Koryolink for a spin sending some of the first social media posts in the country.

Here are some more North Korean Instagram Pics.
Nothing comes for free even in North Korea – Koryolink is apparently rather expensive.
