Ever year, four schools behind the boerewors curtain in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs and outlying districts gather for a day of sporting and cultural competition. Of course, one of those contests is in school cheerleading. Known as the MTBS, the day sees DF Malan, Stellenberg, Tygerberg and Bellville highschools pitted against each other in a high stakes competition that will determine the dating profile of the school students for the following year. At least, we think that’s what happens, we’re just going on hearsay.
It’s a big deal, apparently.
@mediaslut the amount of sweat and time that goes into it will make you cringe. 2-3hrs p/d for 3 weeks before. Blazers on, in the hall.

Anyway, here’s Stellenberg cashing cheques and breaking necks. Just watch the whole thing.
