Here’s Coca-Cola’s “Security Camera” ad, urging us to look at the world a little differently. And buy their product. Lots and lots of their product.

When it comes to Oreos, do you prefer the cream or the cookie? Choose your side! Choose type-2 diabetes!

In much the same vein as Coronation Lion, Budweiser tugs on our heart strings with a horse. Burger King, meanwhile…

Audi played the Matric Dance card for nostalgia’s sake.

Immediately after that played, a slightly less enjoyable sight greeted millions of Super Bowl viewers around the world. And the consternation came in thick and fast. “Audi should be pissed that its excellent kissing-themed ad was followed by the nastiest kiss in history,” tweeted Ad Freak. Media critic Eric Deggans wrote, “I’m not speechless. I said ugh!”

And with good reason. Veteran Super Bowl advertiser GoDaddy sent shivers down most people’s spines with their close up of supermodel Bar Rafaeli kissing a porky geek. While this ad is very clever, it’s also incredibly disturbing.

 In the trailer category, Pirates of the Caribbean duo Jerry Bruckheimer and Gore Verbinski dropped the trailer to their new movie “The Lone Ranger”, and it melted faces.
