This morning we told you about Blackberry’s introduction yesterday of their new operating system and two new smartphones.

One of them is the BlackBerry Z10. It consolidates all messaging into a single, united interface called the Hub, it can run up to eight apps in the background, and it has an extremely high-res screen at 356 pixels per inch.

But what makes this phone different to other smartphones, is the fact that its interface is gesture-based, meaning you navigate and control key functions by swiping the screen in specific ways.

There is also no home button, so unlocking the phone works differently than on the iPhone and most Android phones.

All the people in the video below are interns and editors at Mashable. They got sat down, one by one, and asked to do things such as unlock the phone, find email and get back to the home screen – all without any instructions.
