A video has surfaced online of a scorned farmer dumping a tractor-load of horse manure on his cheating wife’s beloved convertible. He does this after apparently discovering her profile on a dating website.
On her profile (read out loud to the viewer by the husband) the wife, known as Becky Jones, admits that she’s married. She also claims her husband is “a complete idiot” and “completely crazy”.
Her profile goes on to say that she loves two things in her life: her horses and her Peugeot convertible.
Unfortunately for you, I have the keys to your lovely convertible Peugeot. Let’s see how crazy I am.
But what may appear at first to be the greatest revenge video ever, is actually a very clever advertising campaign for the dating website behind the farmer’s wife’s apparent cheating.
Listen and watch the video below carefully. Notice how the “husband” makes sure to name the website (Kissinggates.com) twice – at the beginning and end of the video. He also adds subtle details such as “its some kind of rural dating site”.
It is also no coincidence that you never get to see the farmer, his wife’s picture on the website, or her reaction when discovering her car covered in manure.
Everything about the rest of the video screams “farm” – from the fact that our hero is a farmer, to his conversation with a cow at the end. This seems pretty much in line with the website’s target audience:

Let this be a lesson to all those lame and awkward flashmob attempts out there. This is what a viral video should look like:
