A video of a falcon flying at 110 km/h next to a car has gone viral.
The footage was first posted on Reddit, with one commenter translating the Arabic description under the video as “the falconer in the car is training a young falcon to fly faster.”
It is believed that the bird is chasing a fishing rod – covered in feathers – being stuck out a car window (also driving at 110 km/h).
Falcons are the fastest birds on the planet, and can hit speeds of up to 320 km/h when diving for prey!
Some viewers have expressed concern over the stunt however, saying that everything about this video points towards a potentially disastrous accident in the future.
