Julius Malema’s friends are abandoning him and he says he feels like he has leprosy. He has now taken action and laid charges against an ex-friend for threatening to exhume his mother’s remains.

Just yesterday we reported that Julius felt like he was being treated like he had leprosy. Now, in the latest twist to the saga, The Star newspaper is reporting that Boy Mamabolo allegedly threatened to exhume the remains of Malema’s mother – Mahlodi Malema – from her grave and throw them in front of his grandmother’s house in Seshego.

Why did Boy want to do this? Because Julius apparently sent his allies to sleep with Boy’s girlfriend. The story goes that Julius sent Limpopo ANC Youth League secretary Jacob Lebogo and his ally, Jossie Buthane, to sleep with his girlfriend, and Boy obviously didn’t like this.

Said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi:

Julius opened a case of crimen injuria on Sunday at 7.26pm at the Polokwane police station. Threats, we do not take them very lightly, because if someone threatens you it means they have intentions … but we also have to weigh that threat.

According to The Star’s report, this is an SMS message that Boy sent to Julius:

This time I want to show you that I am more brutal and exhume Mahlodi from the grave and lay her in front of [your grandmother’s house]. You have done many bad things to me.

Boy is also quoted as saying:

In fact, one of them will die this year. I have never said anything which I didn’t do.
