Fans of Seattle rapper Freddy E were shocked by a series of disturbing live-tweets moments before the artist committed suicide on Saturday.
Freddy E, born Frederick Eugene Buhl, was 22 years old. Medical examiners ruled the cause of death to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
It all started the day before, when Freddy E took to Twitter to complain about how bad his day was going following a “heart break.”
Things quickly escalated from there, with the rapper tweeting the following chilling message the next day:
If there’s a God then He’s calling me back home. This barrel never felt so good next to my dome. It’s cold & I’d rather die than live alone.
His final few messages after that involved him telling his family members how much he loved them, before ending off with, “I’m sorry”.
It is believed that the object of Freddy’s heart break is fellow rapper, Honey Cocaine. Following his death, she also addressed the matter via Twitter:
To say I caused what happened is ignorance. You know nothing about our friendship or the story, hate me if you feel. We loved eachother. We were homies. We had a bond and a connection. For people to attack me acting like I made him do it is a shame. Say it’s my fault, threaten me, whatever. I knew him well enough to know he had other things happening. I was there for him all the time.
