Look, In this crazy cluttered world, where anyone can be famous, it’s simply not enough to have your fifteen minutes; you need to showcase your skills at the same time. Even if you decide to become the World Champion 100 Metre Swim Fin Hurdler.
That’s exactly what Michael Flanagan set out to do:
If you can’t be the number one at something, you’ll always feel like a number two.
Michael is the official Bioplus World Champ for this event that he created. The rules were simple: “Make a record, break a record”. And that’s what Michael did when he went for the Fastest Time to Complete the Hundred Metre Hurdles Wearing Swim Fins.
Look, I wanted to do the 100 metre sprint, but the Jamaicans were slightly faster in the trials.
So Michael didn’t actually complete the course properly – he knocked over every single hurdle – but he maintains that unless someone challenges him, he is still technically the Bioplus World Champ.
And that makes me a contender for awesome prizes, like a gold medal, ipads, ipods and all that stuff the hipsters go gaga for.
And in a traditionally awkward ‘sponsor moment’ Michael credited Bioplus for giving him the physical strength and mental vitality to complete his challenge.
Thanks Bioplus, I’ll be seeing all y’all on the winner’s podium.
Great Michael, but we think you could do with some challengers, that’s why you should go to Bioplus.
Challenge Michael. Challenge him.
