Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! Angus T. Jones, the kid who plays Jake Harper on Two and a Half Men, uploaded a video to YouTube yesterday. In it he describes the joys of discovering Christianity, and also tells viewers to “stop watching Two and a Half Men.”
Yes, you heard correctly. The series that made him a super rich, international celebrity in the first place, is not good enough anymore. But what brought on the sudden change of heart? In a nutshell, it boils down to him believing that it is impossible to be a good Christian and watch the show at the same time.
Please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on it and I don’t want to watch it. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch. You can not be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that.
Jones clearly forgot how Charlie Sheen was fired and simply replaced with Ashton Kutcher last year. Any suggestions as to which child actor should take his place on the show next season?
The footage where he disses the show can be seen below. For his full, 15-minute long testimony, click here.
