Yesterday campaigning for the US elections officially ended, with voting starting today. In a final bid to rally people behind him, Barack Obama’s last couple of events for the day featured the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Jay-Z.
Performances from both musicians can be seen below. The day kicked off with Springsteen playing his hit, Land of Hope and Dreams, in front of a crowd of 18 000 people in Madison, Wisconsin. The Boss then got to travel with Obama on Air Force One.
After landing in Columbus, Ohio, they were joined by Jay-Z. For his performance, the rapper changed the lyrics to his song, 99 Problems. Taking a stab at Obama’s opponent, Mitt Romney, he raps: “I got 99 problems, but Mitt ain’t one.” Admittedly this is not the same Jay-Z who stabbed a guy in the stomach at a night club a while back, but he’s still pretty entertaining.
