With the US presidential elections kicking off tomorrow, campaigning has never been fiercer. Even comedians Chris Rock and Will Ferrell released super funny videos recently – both urging people to vote for Barack Obama, or Barry, as we come to learn the US president is also known as.
Chris Rock’s skit was featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday night. In it, he addresses the white voters of America. By listing some of Barack Obama’s more hilarious attributes, he hopes to convince caucasian viewers that Obama is technically one of them. Or, as Chris Rock puts it, why Obama is “the white president you can trust.”
Will Ferrell, on the other hand, does not seem to be picky. He’ll be happy if anyone votes. In fact, he is willing to go to extreme lengths to see that people take to the voting booths.
