Court Finds Conspiracy Plot Against Mdluli – Crime Intelligence Boss Won’t Stand Trial For Murder

A Boksburg Magistrate’s Court has ruled that there is absolutely no evidence linking suspended SAPS Crime Intelligence Boss, Richard Mdluli to the 1999 murder of his baby mama’s husband. And in a spicy twist of events, the court has suggested that the charges were likely the result of a conspiracy against Mdluli.

Mdluli served as the head of Police Crime Intelligence in the Zuma administration between 2009 and 2012, and was regarded as a key Zuma ally in a strategically powerful position.

In March 2011, a warrant was issued for Mdluli’s arrest, in connection with the murder of Oupa Ramogibe, who was shot dead in February 1999. Mdluli handed himself over to the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court, where he was charged with various crimes including kidnapping and murder.

In September 2011, Mdluli faced further charges of fraud and corruption, having allegedly employed his friends and family as intelligence operatives, and misused police funding to purchase luxury cars.

Awesome.
